A Plan are pretty good to be honest. Im going to guess £400? Mine is stratospheric for no real reason other than I changed the policy around a few times during the year as I swapped cars etc. Im hoping the renewal comes in £600 cheaper!

I used Equity Redstar via Adrian Flux (USA Cars Dept), a bit clinical to deal with during the phone questionaire, but professional and efficient IMO. My normal brokers (who couldn't offer cover for it) said the policy underwriters are highly regarded. For an old fart with 5 years no claims and vehicle value £25K - £640 fully comp.

Hi

I have a 1992 GTS-R and am paying around £700 full no claims with Tesco. I am 46 and work in London as an Account Manager but limit mileage to 5k per annum.

Try Colchester Insurance Centre 01206 792927. Got full comp on mine for less than £400 it will depend on how many miles you intend on doing though.

Just to finish off, got it for £480 in the end by a company recommended by Hagerty's (who I insure my Griffith with) Need to Insure. Sounds a bit cheesy but underwritten by Equity Red Star, no mileage limitations, off road parking, wife covered, driving of other vehicles, £300 excess, European and breakdown cover.

Pretty good deal I thought, speak to a guy called Paul who clearly knows his stuff ( he knew all about GTS's straight off )is very helpful and he also drives an Escort Cossie so understand the finer points of driving the quicker vehicle.

Now that I've found the traction control isolator, I'm off to have some fun

Hope to see a few of you around soon

Cheers

Andy (Moose)
