those felt bits

The felt seals on my front windows are disintegrating. Anyone out there experienced this and I assume it is warranty covered?

I don't think they're covered. The felt seal on the pillar that has the SRS sticker on shredded it's self when my window was raised one morning. Took it to my dealer and they said it wasn't covered by a warranty. Wanted to charge me £100+ to replace it. Got it done foc when other complications'arose' whilst they had the car in for a tyre change... (they landed up replacing the seal as a goodwill gesture).

That sucks. Will bend some arms.
