I'm new to this so here goes. Seen loads of Ute's in Az a few years ago and love them.

I have come across a four year old Ute. It has the V6 engine and has been converted to LPG. The radiator needs replacing which I understand also houses the intercooler. The owner is asking £1500. That's all the info I have - except it's red.

I have three questions.

How much will the rad cost, including labour/

Is £1500 a reasonable price?

Are top boxes readily available?

Any information gratefully received

1. Must be a wind up at that price, even without the requisite no. of cylinders.

2. Do you mean a hard lid? - you'll have to go down under for one.

3. If it's kosher, snap his hand off and put a new LS2 in it for about another five 'ish grand.

Hang on a minute, we are talking Holden here, arn't we?

Bump... Any news on this one, did you get it??? If its kosher and you don't want it, let me know, I'd buy it for a project.

I have walked away from it, but have discovered it was built 2001 and registered in 2004.

It has done high mileage and not been cared for the last couple of years.

If you are interested, let me know.

By a top box - I think you call them canopies.

Thanks for the input.

It's got me intersted in a good one now

keep looking! I came back from a year in oz and kept an eye on autotrader every so often. Saw a red SS ute and then a while later I saw my dream ute which I then bought. Good luck, happy hunting!

Not sure what intercooler you mean? Are you saying it has the supercharged V6 like the Monaro CV6 had?

What transmission? If it is auto then I assume you mean the transmission oil heat exchanger?
