Oh dear that doesn't sound good. Hope its nothing serious. That's ruined your weekend big time. I suppose you'll have to wait until Monday even to speak to someone. Good luck
Hi Ollie,
That doesnt sound to good. Maybe it a sensor wire fallen off like the MAF sensor. Id drive back dow to your car in the morning when everythings cold and see if it starts. That could point to a water temp sensor faulty or maybe the wire has come off causing the car to over fuel and make the engine cut out when at normal engine temps.
But it will run ok when the engines started from cold but start to run worse as the engine temp goes up.
There's not much you can do if you cant see a disconected wire of some sort.
Hope its nothing to bad
Andy

if it was a sensor wouldnt the engine management light come on or are they not that complicated That doesnt sound to good. Maybe it a sensor wire fallen off like the MAF sensor. Yes i should have. But if not it could be bad fuel, but i cant see it being a bloked fuel filter as you car must only have done about 18 to 20,000 miles.
Could be the fuel pump ?? which wouldnt put the engine check light on.
Maybe it's something that was over looked when you had the SC fitted.
I see from your engine bay picture that they made some sort or airbox mod, maybe something has got sucked up in there,im grabbing at straws now lol
Would be interested to know what they find tomorrow.

im a bit confused though by my scan guages as they were showing missfire mainly on cylinder 1 yet picadors said the faulty plug lead was on cylinder 8 whats going on with that ? do the american guage manufacturers number them in reverse or something ? anyhow im glad its nothing serious just a bit dissapointed i didnt spot the faulty lead myself
