Having been V8-less since selling my GTS in May, I have finally succombed to the nagging voice saying "go on, you know you want to" and have aquired this.....

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of stopping off to see Mr Monkfish on the way home from collecting it, so a Wortec switchable is top of the list as soon as the dust settles from the purchase!
(must resist forced induction, must resist, must resist)

It's my daily car so wave if you see me out and about!

It's a manual - of course!

Sill getting used to all the toys and electronics - I arrive from 93 Carlton days where you get a slider if you're lucky - but I just love the engine - so flexible and torquey - just need the zorst now.

The stock exhaust is pretty good for flow mate. If you want noise then sure. But its got headers and 2.5 twin setup anyway.
So I doubt you will gain anything much from exhaust powerwise, but would be interested to see smile

Not expecting anything in terms of power - this is purely an aural upgrade - obviously a Wortec remap tweaks power a bit, but it's unlikely that you will really notice.

If I've got a V8 then, apart from enjoying the sound myself, I want to make damn sure that everyone else knows that it's a V8 as well!

Don't think that we will ever outnumber the Ro's though.

However, this is usable for me in a way that a Ro was never going to be i.e. 3 in the back and more than a single tesco carrier bag can fit in the boot.
