This months issue has a feature article about one of the writers cars, a Corvette with LS1, and his switching to an FAST LSX and throttle body for extra power since his dyno reults showed his power was dropping off at higher revs due to constricted air flow.

It talks about his dyno results and where in the power/torque curve he is hitting problems. It sounds as if they will be doing a series of articles on this subject and they even mention that they are looking for 500bhp NA outta the lump.

Dunno if that is of interest to anyone?

Sounds interesting. Why he thinks the restriction could not be in the air filter and intake is beyond me. The LS6 intake is a good improvement anyway. Fast intake is overkill for stock engine. He wont get 500 without a cam and probably better heads.

Yeah mate he said the feature is gonna be a regular with "heads and cam" being the next one. He's just breaking the process into small sections for us then dynoing the individual 'pieces' of the total puzzle in each article so we can see what additions are making what differences.
