ha that got your attention didn't it

actually it was conkers. on my bonnet.out of a tall tree. and now I have 2 or 3 annoying little (very very small) dents in the bloody thing

anyone used any decent dent removal people down my part of the world (hampshire, surrey etc)

and any idea what sort of cost i am looking at?

I used a local one in Oxford, kid next door used the car it for catapult practice.

Dent Devils were the firm, did a wonderfull job, completly vanished,

very reasonable.



You could use the hair dryer, CO2 trick (look it up on the net) never tried it though

oh yes i read about the hairdryer thing. knowing my luck all the paint would fall off if i did that !!!! i will give dent devils a buzz then and see what they think

Yes it works... my friend has 2 small dents on his bonnet and I told him about the gas and hair dryer thing.
So instead of trying on my own car one day and as you say something going wrong like the paint coming off I thought I’d take this opportunity and try it on his car as he agreed lol
But it worked!
I was amazed and the small dents were no more.
Give it a go

were they very small dimple sort of dents ? i wasn't sure if that method was better on larger dents etc ? my ones you can only see from certain angles

Dent Devils rule. One of their guys got a dent out of the bonnet of a mint mini 40 I used to own when everyone else said it couldn't be done. All with a pair of shoe-maker elf hammers! Give them a call.

i don't know why i was worrying about some tiny conker dents. some f*****g w*****r in a lorry just knocked a large branch off a tree onto my car which has now properly dented the wing i think it's just a dent i.e not gone through the paint but rather annoying all the same. especially as dent devils apparently charge per panel. and now i've got three dented ones
