That's why I'm not going to replace my broken one! with another just yet..
That's a good deal though, but I reckon the prices will continue downwards for a while yet. Hang on in there and ride out the storm and potentially you could be looking at values firming up sometime in the future..

You only loose, when you sell it. thats the way i see it.
Look at it another way. Most people in the uk have lost atleast 40k on there house over the last 10 months.
loosing money on our cars isnt that bad after all.
lol
Anyway, If i would only going to be offered 15k for my car id keep it and never sell it.

All performance cars are taking a hit - really not worth selling just for a change TBH - just modify more to move into the sub 9 sec to 100mph arena like me!

sub 9 to 100mph is impressive but my 200sx done that and that cost me about £8k including all the modifications!
so its not that impressive
faster than my VXR though

Possibly the 50k miles is considered high for the age/marque and deducted accordingly?
Also there was a similar silver 05 VXR for sale on Autotrader from a dealer up in Burnley for about the same with similar mileage level.

I bet your 200 is stripped a little and not very tractable (easy to drive around in top etc)

Totally agree - my old Busa would have hit 170 in that time :woohoo:

full road trim including leather interior standard engine and wheels! very sleeper!!!!!
anyway sorry back to topic for the VXR to hit sub 9 0-100 that is very quick a guy i know with a 600bhp 200sx (600bhp from a 1.8!) used to hit 0-100 in about 7 seconds and that was a serious machine

I picked up a 56 plate VXR with 15,000 miles on the clock for £16.5k last week. 1 owner, 100% standard.
I couldn't believe that price. 2 years ago I almost bought one, glad I wasn't the one to take the big hit in depreciation stakes.

it has spent the first week in the garage though
good price though i got a 56 plate VXR 2 months ago for £21k with 10,000 miles on clock! and that was the cheapest i could find of th esame type at the time so sod it ill keep it for the forseeable or until the bloke at the train station with the DB7 stops looking and it and wishing he had it
