Been quoted £220 each for Pirelli's - is that a good price ?
That's a bit high. Can get close to £200 and even sub that with a shop around. These guys quoted me lowest on the Pirellis http://www.blackboots.co.uk/ . I wouldn't fit anything else on the 19's.My Pirelli's lasted me about 6000 miles driving hard all the time. But if you want better mileage for a few quid extra i would fit Michelin's
I drive side ways all the time and do burn outs at the traffic lights and 1 track day.But Michelins have still done about 8000 miles with me doing that to them.
And they are loads better in the wet than the Pirelli's

And thats why so many kids die on the roads every year!
Have you got Max Power stickers in your rear window as well?

I would call it Darwin's theory of natural selection... stupid kids that play on roads should be run over. Have thought about putting a great big bull bar on the front of the car, otherwise it is a buggar to clean the car.

Thanks for the advice -seems to be that these cars do eat tyres but best not to skimp on replacements.
I think they are hard on the tyres due to the kind of LSD they run and the way it works? Its not the best.As said before, if the wear is even, mine went from the middle first, no problem with alignment.

Keep death off the roads, drive on the pavement lol
Well I obviously drive like a nancy - 17k miles on the original Pirelli rears. Replacement Falkens are at around 11k miles and they look like they'll go to around 17-18k as well. So far I'm at 28k miles on the Pirelli fronts and they've got a few thou left I'm sure.
Daily driver - mostly motorway.

think of your comment again if you ever have the misfortune to loose someone close to the road
