Going along the M4 the other night about 9.30pm and i suddenly heard a weird noise simular to a flat tyre so pulled other on the the hard shoulder shapish and found all 4 tyres inflated so limped along the hard should to maidenhead junction and a lit area on a404 with a horrible noise metalic clanking which when in the light turned out to be a thread failure on my bridgestone re050 tyre so set about changing to the space saver and loosened three of the wheel nuts before my wheelbrace decided to do a great impression of a peice of liqurice and twist up and all i was doing was leaning on it. so had to call the AA qnd wait 45 minutes in the freezing cold. Anybody else had their wheel brace fail in this way? or have simular tyre problems?

I've been running these tyres on the CV8 since purchased. Most of my issues with this typre were uneven wear due to miles covererd, factory alignment settings and under inflation. They're about done now and need replacing, urgently - in contemplation of the imminent slippery winter roads.

I thought they were okay on the whole, but not having anything to compare them with, don't know where to turn for a quality (and reasonably priced) alternative.

I've read all the tyre comments and threads and I'm none-the-wiser.

Yep
Can vouch for the fraud's bar. Had one myself for years now. Does what it says on the tin very nicely.
Blimey - is this a thumbup for Halfrauds??
