Well what can I say, I've had the Ro' for a little over a month and I've already dropped my guard and decided to 'tune' her a little.

After shopping around, being mainly ignored by some tuners who sw fit to either take too long to reply, over price their products or simply no reply at all I decided to go with Roger and Andy at Monkfish performance.

I opted for ....

*Performance Pac
*Wortec CAI kit
*Rip Shifter
*Valved Exhaust system

I was kindly give the demo car whilst mine was in being worked on. I dropped the car off on Sat AM and had it back, completed and in my hands by close of business Tuesday. Now that is some turn around!

For people without any mods (if there are any of you) out there I would recommend the first modification you carry out is the Rip Shifter, it's rid the car of ALL the sloppy gear change issues I was having, it feel so much tighter and responsive. It's a dream to drive in traffic now, as compared to before where it was hit or miss as to whether I would find 1st gear as the lights changed to green.

The performance pac, has not only has resulted in the car feeling much crisper, more responsive and eager to go when needed but I've managed to go from 28/29mpg on the motorway when cruising in 6th at 68mph to 32mpg. It has also resulted in a increase of average MPG when 'tootling' around the doors.

The exhaust sounds gorgeous on start up, burbling into life. It's brilliant for driving through town, under bridges and tunnels. Hearing it bounce off the walls and buildings. I really like the ability to dumb it down and become very subtle as you drive early in the morning or pulling up at home.

The one thing the demo car didn't have that my car does have is the Wortec CAI kit, it produces a massive howl as it sucks in the air, it drowns out the exhausts when going up slip roads on WOT.

I think I'll be back for a SC, new suspension and the AP breaks in the new year!

What else can I say but thank you monkfish.

I am glad you are enjoying your performance pac. Well done to Roger and Andy for the turn around. It makes all the time designing and developing our products worth while when our customers enjoy them. driving thumbup

I would love to drive a standard CV8. Mine came with all the toys already done, so I don't know any different. I was spoiled right from the start

Sounds like it should now.
