Crap.
Don't bother.

The presenters were clearly desperately hungover, fluffed their lines, came over with as much personality as a cardboard box and the show, apart from car football with Smart cars was amateur, poorly choreographed and coordinated and a waste of money.

We also had the Platinum package with lunch etc - which was basically a queue like a bloody school canteen for some dried up lasagna or chicken and rice, sat in a totally over-crowded area with hundreds of other duped sods like us.

Never again Top Gear.

Really. I've always wanted to go to one of the shows. Realised it wouldn't be as it looked on TV but still i thought it would be good

saw them at the MPH show and that was pretty good - AND included in admission price. Saw the floating astra and was quite taken back. shame they didn't do a Ro aswell. Overall a good show. sorry to hear they've gone downhill now.

MPH IS Top Gear Live - it used to be Tiff instead of May so they've just rebranded it.

Used to be a big show too (only been going 4/5 years) but this year it was short, tight and overcrowded. I was a bit disappointed.

Still, I sat in an AMV8 - I'm glad my girlfriend was there to stop me remortgaging for one!

Aha!
Scuse my ignorance then!
It was a few years ago that i went....
They've probably got bored of doing it since - they do repeat the same show day in, day out though.
Best bit for me (years ago) was JC's entrance in a red VXR Ro, powersliding it the front of the arena. he got out and said "God I love that car..." or something very similar. I then knew my current ride had to change.......

Indeed - the powersliding in the Monaro was one of the reasons I was so hooked on the car - and now own one. This year they pootled in in crappy TG cars.. just not the same. And what the hell was with teasing us with twin Z06s only for them to disappear?! OooohGrrr
