Just been looking at the classifieds. There are loads of juicy cars about at the moment. For those of you looking to sell your Ro, take a look at this beauty: www.pistonheads.com/sales/776282.htm .Why buy new?

Agree with you on the performance bargains. Although I'll keep my Ro over that RS6. Reckon the Ro has much more soul.

The Ro's not as good at carrying dogs and baby crap. Still a lot of car for the money.

Fair point Wormus. My wife persuaded me to buy a Disco for that very reason. We had an STI previously which we PX'd. A few months on and without a play thing I bought the Ro. A guy I know has an RS6 estate with 650bhp. Very nice! Very loud!

One of the guys at work just bought an RS6 for a bit over 17K. He's pretty happy with it so far.

No such thing as a cheap performance car.

Fast, Reliable, Cheap.

Pick two.

I always liked the twins that were Tirpitz and Bismarck.
These creations had serious character and soul!

RS6's are nice but you look at the service costs and how much it is to replace the front suspension link arms, struts etc as they wear and you have to do the lot! Very expensive to maintain and not even cheap if you do it yourself. Better built Id say than my Ro but cost to much to maintain for the level of performance they offer.

I'd tend to agree having owned an A8 which was was serviced by Audi. I'd try to use an independent outside of warranty and you cannot disagree it's one hell of a way to take stuff to the tip!

I send Soph in the Transit.

They even help her unload it ( same with the builders merchants...only the other way round)
