Hi guys,

Would like to do a bit of exploratory work on my car as i have an annoying rattling coming from the rear which i would like to get sorted.

Was wondering if anyone had or knew where i could find a guide on removing the inner rear panel where the speakers are next to the chairs not the parcel shelf ones, knowing my luck ill try and bust some clips or something..

Thanks in advance

You need to wrench (gently) around the edges to pull the panel off. Be carefull as the metal clips are attached to the panel on thin plastic which could snap when its this cold! There are also a couple of screws hidden by the seat and at the bottom near the rear of the doors. To remove the rear seats pull up on the front of the base then remove the two bolts holding the bottom of the rear seat, slid it upwards and off its hangers.

Are you sure the rattling is not the rear seat belt tongues hitting the sides of the car?
I get annoyed by this when the kids just fling the belts off and the belt slips between the seat and the sidewall. Try plugging the belts into their sockets and go for a drive - might save you the headache of removing half the interior.
