As per my previous post about this noise i have today had someone sit in the back whilst i was driving along and they have located the noise.

It seem to be coming from the are behind the area where the seat belt comes out of.

All i really need to know now is the best was to get behind it where the seat belt is secured to try and find this noise?

Any help will be great

Many Thanks

It really does sound like the bush at the top of the suspension strut.

And this is located in the boot area correct?? It has like a little rubber cover over it?? If so i put a blanket over that this morning and could still hear the noise...

I don't think putting a blanket over it would reduce the noise. Is the noise coincedent with bumps in the road on the side that you are talking about?

Yes most of the time, almost sounds like cracked glass rubbing together and was told they could hear it in the area the seat belt comes from.

I would take the rear shock off and look at the bush that goes through the car body and see if it looks damaged.
