Why would you have to pay for a torrent download?
Erm, never used it and one particular link I went to wanted $4 to sign up. I dont suppose you have a link to a free one do you?
Think about the kinds of people that seed illegal torrents and host torrent search engines. Then consider if you want to start paying money to them.

A hard copy will cost a small fortune like my 1998 F body manual did all those years ago. If you want to do any work properly then you need the GM build manual and if it's from the net it'll save you a fortune.
That said, it's nice to have a paper copy in front of you when checking torque or angle settings during an engine build (print off what you need). Others just use an air gun until it's tight.

Cheers for the help, I managed to sort out torrent software from www.bittorrent.com/
(what was worng with .ftp?)
and found a link to the manual that worked and no probs, job done!
