Opinions on Evoke colour for VXR8

What are peoples' opionions on the VXR8 colour 'Evoke';dark metallic grey I think.

I've not seen this colour (yet) 'Evoke' doesn't convey anything to me, however dark grey seems a bit anonymous.

Dependant on light, can look like dirty silver or dirty black.

I quite like it. Mind you I like them all except red..

Reds nice - followed one of the board members here yesterday and it looked loovvveeelllyyyy! mind you it will show the dirt almost as fast as black!

Opps............I wanted a gunmetal but they only did a weedy grey, (then) had to make do with RED........

Its a bit to ... plain for my liking but each to their own. TBH - you dont buy this type of car because its sensible so why get a boring sensible colour... Black is the only way to go really IMHO of course.

Black is a bitch, cause you can see the scratches. Evoke is my choice of all the colours. Was going to be the colour I got a VXR8 in.. My favourite all time colour is Delft Blue..

Never heard of it. Googled it and nothing.
I also agree that black is a bitch to keep clean and scratches just seem to appear

Ive got a VXR8 in Evoke, really liked the colour until my wife and i came back to the car in the pub carpark the other day and it looked brown, weird colour sky thankfully , normally looks dak metallic grey with a mauve tint. Best colour for me as its not to distintive.

12.4 first time out... loads of traction issues so going to try some alternative rear wheels and proper road legal drag tires next year. Want and will get a low 11!

Gareth drives and auto, granted a very nice ute auto but how hard can it be to depress the accelerator pedal only...?
