Monaro Spotted in Essex on black OZ plates

Sorry guys but I just saw a black Monaro in Basildon in Essex which was on Australian number plates and some nice bird driving it.
It looked like a CV8 (single exhaust) from the rear but had a later HSV front bumper and bonnet nostrils same as a late 2007 Ro.
I’ve never seen it in the area before and wondered if it was anyone on here.
There was no tax disc on the window so maybe one just got it off the boat from oz.
