£20 per spark plug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
Hi Guys. I'm sure its been asked before, but I couldn't find it on the search, which spark plugs should I use for a standard 5.7 RO and where should I get them??? I don't fancy paying £20 a plug to the VX dealer and extra for having them fitted!!!

I have some of the lsx bosch twin earth platinums in 3 different heat ranges (cooler) so may be able to help. What plugs have you been using to date?
Thanks for all of your replies. I personally have never changed them. It is part of the 5th year service that VX do. It may even be the first change. I think I might just call Roger at monkfish tomorrow and see what he recommends. If he suggests yours are ok I might be interested. Thanks boosted.
There are dozens of plugs that will fit.
Its only a spark plug after all.
Some people get carried away with it all....especially precious metal plugs. They are almost purely for longivity.
Although copper plugs will work fine...I think 30k is being optimistic. I wouldnt even run double platinum NGK's for much longer than that on a daily runabout.

t of a job and if you can be arsed to do it fair play but my replacements are still sitting on the work top. Suppose I should try and do them on Friday as the car is out of Storage for the weekend.
Whats the recommended gap? 1.0? or 1.3?
