Just wanted to know if many people have done this, basicly my car is in a bad shape and its have a new small block and forged pistons but at the same time I was thinking of upping the power to 10+PSI (600bhp+ hopefull) which requires fuel modes but what I also wanted was to have a dual exit exhaust like the monkfish LS2 demo car has, I know the fuel tank gets in the way though so what kind of mods do people do to move the fuel tank?

Is there any option then apart from moving the tank to the boot?

Is there not a smaller tank that could be fitted or a different shaped one which would allow the exhaust to fit?

Would the best option be say at small 10/20liter tank then a LPG tank in the boot?

Just trying to get some ideas really, I'll contact you in the morning anyways regarding progressing with the engine.

Anything can be done, but to make a tank fit with clearance for an exhaust as well is going to be a very complex shape to manufacture, never mind the complexities of getting a fuel gauge reading. In all honesty, with the money involved in such a mod, if its just for the sound, have you considered a selling it for an 05 Monaro or a ute? There are some good prices on 6.0 VXR's at the moment.

my advice, buy an LS2 Monaro, it'll be cheaper than modifying the fuel tank, etc

The problem is the money im putting in to the GTS i would never get back, I paid 12k for the car then around 3.5k for the last service, rip shift, remap, exhaust and now around another 4.5k for the engine to be fixed. its almost a 20k GTS

Anyone wanna swap

Have you ever listened to AM04ARO`s car, it sounds great with the single side exhaust.

Prob be cheaper to get some custom headers made and split the bank pulse for a REAL V8 sound.
