Spooky noise from behind dash

Had a really weird noise from behind my dash today it sounded like a cross between a kids battery powered toy aeroplabe trapped inside the dash but then changed to a 5 year old trying the violin

Not kidding the oddest noise I have ever heard from a car around the hazard button area but deeper and no it wasn't a kiwi band on the cd player went away after the car has been running for a few minutes but cam back when starting

anyone ever had this??????

Yes i get the same thing aswell,under moderate acceleration usually from a cold start but disappears after 3 or 4 mins.I take it you have a cv8 then? come to think of it,bizarely it seems more prone to doing it when someone is in the passenger seat?!?!

I heard exactly that in someone else's CV8 a while ago (while I was car-shopping!). An arcing sound coming from the hazard switch. The hazards came on momentarily afterwards and flickered a bit. Then they went off and everything worked normally afterwards.

You get funny sounds from the air conditioning controls as the valves are controlled by a vacuum, if you have a supercharger then the negative pressure goes positive, could be boll***s but had the same. Or your car is ready for a melt down. Turn the radio up and it's cured.
