Article says they are not going to sell them in England, I thought they were? I was interested to see just how much cheaper you would get them there, can't imagine them selling at our £70K price...

Yep, ls1.com.au shows a dyno with only 385rwhp from it.
Pathetic.

Anyone parting with this kinda wedge for that car wants certifying:

One LS2 VXR8 demo car £20K, one LS7 crate motor £8K, bits and pieces £5K. There you go one "W427" , but it's still only 505BHP (FW). Can't blame old Tom for taking the piss, sorry money, off the dafties though.

Now if they'd had blown it as well, it gets a little more appealing (NOT).

Send me a link Rog mate. At that money I might just pitch in for a "W427"

Not quite sure how the older HSV model owners think they will get £16k on theirs now. Puts all the early models well under £10k imo.

Must admit to liking the idea of dropping a genuine Zee06 LS7 in one just for the hell of it. Are the ECU's the same Rich?

Certainly are, plug and play.
You might want a wet sump though, or mess about with the dry one like HSV did.
I cant see the driveline being strained too much with the stock 385rwhp..

Mmmmm, LS7, some choice forged bits and some forced induction. Now that could be good! Who will be the first?
