Dont think it was because they were driving on the other side of the road, but may have been in Europe if it was. And was the Ro was pasted at about 170mph which is quite slow for Harrys.
Ive had mine upto just over 180mph and his has loads more horses than mine lol

That was my thinking, ( ref, the coupe 4 kit ) does anyone know how many monaro's are in europe? There are a good handfull of GTS's etc from the time before vauxhall got in on the deal. I wonder how our euro funk brothers see the brand?

Yep that was me, a long time ago when the engine was standard. We were in Germany heading to a drift day. Max speed she would do was 172mph

Mine gets sheds of attention out here in Germany, whether it be on the autobahns or parked up at a local supermarket.

Most middle to old ages people don't have a clue what it is (or could be), but just about every kid that's ever seen it knows it as it's GTO guise due to the likes of Need For Speed etc on games consoles...

I cant believe a 997 GT3 can do 200mph, quite impressed with that as didnt think they would get near especially with the big wing on the back.

Yeah I suppose, still surprised it can do even that speed. Have you seen Clarkson Thriller DVD this year? He takes a 997 turbo to an indicated 200mph and that seems to take longer to get to it than the GT3 in that video.
