Front Fog Lights...

One of my front fog lights is broken. Stone kicked up I guess.

Anyone know how much and how easy to replace? I'll be giving the local dealer a call in the next day or so, but just wondered if anyone knew how much they are, if they are cheaper to buy from Oz or the US, etc.

Are they sided? I need a N/S one for my 04 CV8. Just wondered if you wanted to go halves?

I had one from the stealers about 2 years ago which was £125(lucky for me i got it f.o.c ) and a five/ten minute job to fit (6.0l VXR)

just found a pair non genuine for 110 aussie dollars auto solutions store on fleebay

If doing the job yourself, you better hope the screws will come undone They are a real B*&*h if rusted, they go into a plastic housing but the screw heads will crumble if rusty

I'd be up for that. I also need the N/S one, but since they aren't sided we are all set. Is the CV8 fog light any different to my VXR fog light though?

I will measure mine today to see what they look like - as said earlier, there are some on Oz eBay at the moment, but there are different types so we would need to be sure before ordereing....

Here are the two links - perhaps someone who knows could confirm if one of them would do for both the CV8 and the VXR?

One on my friends got a new front flog light for the same Ro as yours from somewhere in the UK for about £80
Ill find out where he got it from in the next few days.

Beware, these are Chinese lights which do not fit properly, I have spent a long time trying to source some for my ss ute which I have now done, just trawl Aus fleabay and you will find some genuine ones, at least they will fit in the brackets..
