See the dates are up now for the 2009 races. Not sure if in the current climate we can expect Vauxhall to continue with their free ticket scheme they've run over the last couple of seasons but maybe we could try and organise a couple of meets at the races for ourselves even if they dont. I've posted a link to the calendar for the year so you can see what dates might suit the most people and get them in your diaries. Obviously we can try organise something once we get nearer to the start of the races.

All being well we'll be doing...
Brands (x2 definitely)
Donington (definitely)
Snetterton (probably)
Thruxton (maybe)
Rockingham (maybe)
Silverstone (maybe)
Knockhill (1000 mile round trip but I really fancy doing it!)

Be happy to still meet up and convoy in if Vauxhall don't organise anything this year.

Thruxton would be good as would Silverstone and Rockingham.

Would love to go to Knockhill if we could get a convoy up there - would be most fun although costly!

1 x trip to Knockhill = 2-3 tanks of fuel plus overnight in travel inn - 300 inc tickets, meals etc would cover it. We did 4 such trips south last year but generally made them into mini breaks so stayed over an extra couple of nights, did the whole tourist trip type things but that was instead of a fortnight somewhere. Wont suit everyone but we did get to see a lot more of the country and find some cracking pubs, hotels to eat in or stay at. Will say that Knockhill isn't the best circuit for viewing or facilities, you do have to be prepared to do some walking to find the best vantage points. If coming up I'd suggest you head up for a long weekend to do some exploring and get the most out the trip.
