The Fastest colour

Was just thinking since our silver cars are called Quicksilver and if they are infact unpainted as the mass unwashed would have it then that layer of paint must be a weight saving making them the fastest!

A silver car would be heavier because you have to paint it silver then spray it again with lacquer making it weigh more.
Silver Ro's look really bland anyway
Black looks nice when washed every 2 mins but i think Red's the best colour

Plainly the fact that black cars have to be washed more often, means that black cars tend to be alot cleaner than other colours. Less dirt = less weight + less drag = faster colour.

Hate to say it but the black is metallic also requiring lacquer.

But metallic black is known to be even faster (Something to do with the type of metallic flakes, their angle when in black paint and the earths magnetic field)

tend to agree its going to be the most powerful for the foreseeable future, but fastest in terms of top speed - not so sure with the weight of all those extras (bodykit, exhaust, turbos, fuel system, seam welding etc) plus the enormous fuel tank (120 litres or something wasnt it) to haul around. Only know for sure when he gets the boost fully wound up and takes it to VMax event or similar. Cant wait to hear what it achieves Be interesting to see how quick it guzzles fuel at the top speed as well.........could be another record but this time for lowest ever achieved.

Hmmm, now by fastest does that mean fastest average speed - as bear in mind that every time my QUICKsilver is out it's normally on the good old de-restricted autobahns and I'm not shy to show her the sole of my right shoe
