Over a month after my accident, the insurance company have finally sent me a cheque. So I have just bought a 05 VXR which I am picking up next friday. I can't wait, it's been a month and i've already got withdrawl syndromes!

Mint inside and out, only problem is one of the front foglights have come off and the other one is cracked. Anyone know how much these will set me back and if Roger et all at Monkfish have any in stock?

Other than that, just waiting for the gap insurance to pay out and then a lengthly stay in Monkfish is in order to put some goodies on it and make it my own.

I'd be wary of broadcasting your whole reg no. like that. Easy pickings for the 'car cloning' brigade. smile

I'm not insanely jealous... Honest!!

Seriously tho, glad to see a case where the insurance worked out for someone. It's bad enough losing a car you really love, but worse when the insurers don't give you what you thought they should and you have a gap between what you get and the replacement cost.

Deleted the reg..........forgot about the whole car cloning incident!

Yeah, the fog lights are a bit worrying though as I seem to remember they cost a bomb to replace. And also, does anyone have a spare driver side mirror glass mod? Taking it for a test drive today and remembered how bad it is without it.

Well done. I hope you like it. Both of my fog lights dont work but then they are useless, even in fog!

Easy solution. Fit a turbo kit which requires you to dispense with said fog lights
