I've found lots of info on 19" tyres but nothing on 18". The obvious choice is another set of Bridgstones but has anyone found something that works better? My cars has standard GTS suspension set-up and wheels.

There's a lot of good deals around at the moment - Continental Sport Contact 3 or Bridgestone Potenza for about £520 a set fitted and balanced

Fitted F1s to mine once the Michelin's it came with wore out and they were an allround better tyre . Now running on Dunlop SP Sportmaxx which seems just as good, looking round previous threads and reviews these seem to be the two to go for.

I've just had a full set of 18" Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres fitted to my CV8. Not sure if they are the same width / profile as your GTS, but, all in, cost me £600 at Kwik Fit.

I've put about 600 miles on them so far (in the lousy, icy whether we've recently had) so can't really comment on their full potential as yet.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've had F1's on another car and rated them but fancy a change. Ringing around today I've managed to get a deal on the Contis which is too good to refuse so the Dunlops will have to wait until next time. I'll post my findings in due course.
