This man speaks the truth.

How badly do I want the HZ though!!!

Actually, either the HG or the HZ would be good, but Id want the HZ in preference. Dammit. Where were these things 6 months ago?!

Id respray it though. Immediately. And remove the couch! vomit

I've been to have a look at both these ute's and it's a case of they look better than they are. They've had a cosmetice tune up to make them look good as promo vehicles but the HG has a knackered clutch / gbox? The choke has disappeared so starting takes time and I couldn't test drive it. The HZ is wet inside due to rain leaking in. The trans is lazy and motor works but steering is a bit iffy and interior looks as old and worn as the truck is. Both would need TLC mechanically. All IMHO.

I have made an offer but having thought about it probably too much. I think the seller is optimistic.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit optimistic as well. Who ever did the £10k referb made a shitload of money to be honest to what was actually done on them. Would be a good little project if the money they wanted was right. Got way too many cars at the moment, otherwise would go the 1971 ute... Mrs Says No, bank manager says definitely no way you have to be joking... it feels as if the world is against me. Sniffle sniffle..
