MOT experiences with a CV8 ?
Discussion
sailed through 2 now, 04 CV8 with Miltek exhaust and sports cats. Had the 2nd tester set my lights for me on his rig to the maximum legal height while he was checking them. I'd imagine the usual areas that might be a bit suspect will be tyres, emissions and maybe the odd worn bush depending on miles you've covered.
Only issues I've had mentioned on both mine were
1. Rear fog lamp not offset to the right (?!) Same as Mini One I believe.
2. Queried legality of front number plate due to no BS mark (no lonnger a problem from Oct 2007)
3. Also had headlights adjusted up
No emissions issues once the cats had warmed up

My GTS-R just tugged £1,500 out of my pocket.
- 2 rears required
- corroded power steering pipes
- emissions - it failed big time - why? - one of the two muppets who had the car before me decided to remove the cats (more fool me for not looking underneath).
Still I got to travel to Monkfish 3 times from Kent - oh yes better add the fuel as well not shy of £200.
Still you always get a nice friendly reception at the Fish.
These car are a labour of love.
