HSV & Monaro RWYB Track day Sunday 17th May. (Or do the BTCC Meeting at Donington up the road)
If you want to participate please add your name to the list and get yourself a Forum Race number (free) on the Shakey Race database thread.
My idea is for our first "Club" or forum get together at Shakeys as they are keen to host us. My idea is to get down there on Saturday and have our unofficial eliminator, probably seperated into one for NA and One for FI. Then an overall "Champ". I would get some other prizes/awards together for other classes for a bit of a presentation afterward. This would all depend on numbers and obviously the more the merrier.
Tony, at the track, would make the race arrangements for us. At some stage I need to PM each of the entrants for their details, please see the Shakey database thread to sign up for a number.
I have found 8 or 9 family rooms at the Stratford Travel lodge for the Saturday night that I can book now at £65 per room. On the Sunday, you can decide to have another RWYB track day, go up the road to the BTCC at Donnington up the road, or simply head on home.
Any comments gratefully recieved. ASAP to start making arrangements.
Cheers Gareth

For those having the evening meal we will endeavour to make our way to the Tramway Inn for around 6 - 6.30pm.
Meal, Social & Trophy Presentation at the Tramway Inn, Stratford on Avon, circa 6.30 -7.00pm
The Tramway has the largest free car park in Stratford.
Tips for the day:
Keep your car as light as possible; get rid of the tool kit, overnight bag and makeup box. Just have the petrol in that you need for the day, don’t fill her right up. Remember - power to weight.
Check your car componentry is secure and that you don’t have any leaks. Be sure your wheelnuts are tight. Check fluid levels. Check tyre pressures. If in doubt ask someone else to check it over for you. If you are running road tyres don’t let them down all at once, adjust them for best grip during the day. Too low a pressure can loose you traction.
Remember to miss the water pan when pulling onto the track unless you want to do burn outs.
Have a look at the Shakespeare County Raceway web site for further information.
Please be careful and aware in the pits and keep safe. Enjoy the day, we are in good company!
