LSD oil change

I think the method is fill with oil, add small amount of friction mod and then test drive car. If it's locking up too much (clanking/banging noise during low-speed manoeuvres) then add more friction mod. Amount of friction mod needed varies from car to car. One to three bottles I think I heard.
The factory just seem to stick in heaps of the friction mod and as a result the diff is quiet, but never locks up.

Yeah ok but what I meant was I'm more interested in having the LSD do what it should than a bit of noise. I have run spool diffs in road cars before so I can live with a bit of skipping etc 
I'll change the oil and see what happens, if it's too bad I'll add some FM (yeah ok just like you suggested above
