Not as good as the blurb would make you think, especially if the exhaust is making a droning noise.
You may be better off with a BlueToof headset.

I've had Parrot kits in three cars including a very loud SC'd MX5. I think they are a great bit of kit.

If the Monaro has an ISO port you should be able to buy a cable to plug straight in - no cutting of wires.

ive just fitted a system called i0play similar to a parrot took an hour and a bit to fit. Very nice lookin piece of kit. Only thing that had to be altered was splithng the orginal iso connector which is no big deal and then clipping the one in the kit in. Works extremely well nice and clear and can work with iphones and ipods too. I got an ipod adaptor its really good better than i expected and millions times better than an fm transmitter

There are full fitting instructions if you search this forum. The Parrot kit will mute the radio and work through the standard radio really well. I would say go for it and if you are happy fitting it yourself, do that as well. I bought my kit on ebay for about £35 (new) and its really very good. I have a Wortec system, I think its more about where you fit the mic which makes a lot of different. Mine is on the sun visor and this cuts out all the vibes as well.

higgster, I have just had a look at the iOplay and im tempted. Does the hands free sound as good as the music streaming and would you recommend one?

yeah real well the control on the dash even controls the mp3 player or your phone controls the mic is really clear too. There was some bad reviews about its streaming qualitys but as our speakers arent too amazing its sounds really good
