vxr8 indicator issues, who has this?

Hi Ladies & Gents,
I know a few have the vxr8 indicator issue where the turn signal starts normally then starts blinking at double rate. Its worse in cold, but either way gets worse over time until its constantly broke. Mine has been in 3x for this fix and 1 year later its still unresolved.
The fix is apparently a new module in the light unit. Vauxhall are dragging their feet over this dispite being given the Holden technote for the problem.
I have now contacted Vauxhall to escalate this and push a fix through.
So can anyone with this problem please forward me your contact details and preferably reg via PM. Ill forward all the emails to Vauxhall.
Ii have emailed one guy I know with the problem. I think there are a few more. So send me your details and Ill do all the work for you
I have also contacted Dougie from VX to see if he can help direct me to the right place and buttons to push. When I find Stu's contact Ill get onto him as well.
I want to get this sorted now as its getting beyond a joke.

Hi Richard Ive already replied to your pm.
Bulletin was released yesterday as parts are now in stock.
As in Uk the warranty guys wont release a bulletin until the parts are in stock in Uk ( I can see why )
Ive contacted Picador for you and they will be incontact shortly

Hi Ringram, did try to PM you but did not work for some reason (God I am crap at this IT stuff). I thought I was going mad when my indicator did the same as your description and mine was only delivered in late Sept 08 so still an issue. Have informed my stealer and booked it in for next week. Read your comment to him verbatum and Doug's response. Thanks again.

The email works if you go through Pistonheads forum but not on the Hsv for some reason..............

Yeah Picadors have the info and if you refer the dealer to Dougie, Im sure he will help sort it out.I was about to give you an update on this as I've had the new unit fitted for a week now, I was just testing first before commenting.
Anyway as Dougie says they are in stock now (been waiting since Oct), and it seems to be working fine.
Make sure the unit has a yellow dot because that's what they've stuck on the new one to differentiate from the old.
Takes about 30mins to fit, and I didn't have to book it in just turned up and waited.

Talk to Picadors is the answer. Chris Power there has all the info, part numbers etc.
I understand the "real" replacements only arrived recently, I think some like mine only had the old modules replaced with like, not the new improved ones.
But Im guessing a little there based on Dougie saying that the parts had only "just" come in for the fix.
Im waiting a call to drop my car down.
