My Sept 08 VXR8 has had a few small problems throughout it's short life and most recently the indicator issue many of you seem to have highlighted. Pentagon of Burton have been most helpful regarding any fixes and have now agreed to: fix the indicator problem (bow Ringram) , the leaky shocker and the bizzare lack of paint on the rear arches. Problems and all I love the car, exhaust and attention, but just can't wait for the sticky summer tarmac to reappear. Ooooooooo stiiickyyyy ttaarrrmmaccccc lick

Do any of you guys have the centre console problem........... my screen keeps disappearing along with all electrics, it sometimes reboots itself, sometimes not, have to turn off ign then it restarts, its starting to become...smash.........Will have its second service soon, add it to the list for Picador.

Before anyone says (bonnie) buy a Monaro, I tried one and could not put up with waiting half hour to get the family in the back!!

Mine did it ages ago, I just tapped the screen and it came back. Not had a problem since.
Actually now you mention it I wonder if its heat related as I think it was worst in summer...
Indicators in winter and console in summer wink

The screen failed to appear once (just snowy picture like TV without tuning) and none of the switches around it made a difference with the exception of the Eject button, which when pressed booted all back to normal. Not happened since.

The R8 dash electrics are certainly temperemental. Seems worse the colder it gets. Dont think there is a fix though. We live in hope!

Don't suppose they suffer much from the cold down under!
