Mine is a 2005 Facelift Ro. Doesn't need an exhaust yet......but it's 4 year old now so i'm just thinking ahead and fancied doing some price comparisons. I know Monkfish do a cat back for around £1700, but what other options are there out there? I've been on the Miltek site but there are no prices.

Cheers in advance.

I got a stainless custom made catback from AAS in Newcastle, £550 inc vat fitted. Sounds awesome.

Mines a single outlet on a 2004. The system is twin with an X pipe, single big back box. I'd recommend AAS, good professional outfit.

cheers for the offer, but on reflection (and when the cashflow allows) i think i'll be going up to Newcastle to get a 'slightly' noisier one fitted. It'd be sad not to! wink

Im pretty sure the standard system is stainless steel anyway although a low grade so it does get surface rust and look groty but should last quite a while.

I've got mine booked into AAS to have the two central silencers removed, £80 all in, quite happy with that.

Are those the small cans on either side of the car before the axle? they don't look like they do that much, how about taking off the first large silencer from the down pipes and put in either an H or X Pipe?
I might be wrong of course but thats what I was planing to do.... comments please...

Thems the ones alright, about in line with the rear seats. From what I can gather these arent present on the Aussie 'Ro or the US GTO, something about drive by noise regs for here in the UK. Thought about removing the resonator like you mentioned but not sure if that would mess up the tune or not.

let us all know how you get on, I will be interested in the sound it produces. I must admit I did not know that we were the only ones to get those small silencers.

I took the mufflers out of my 04 vxr and it sounded better, but the catback it has now is loads better. The catback is a bigger bore and has a proper crossover balance pipe
