decent weather today so was finally able to strip down car to get at radiator to try find leak. Seems to be coming from near the bottom, passenger side between the plastic end tank and the alloy fins. No obvious sign of damage so guess it must be a crack inside the plastic somewhere so I need to get a replacement radiator.

1.anyone got a spare 04 cv8 radiator for sale?
2. has anyone replaced theirs with a better design - if so how much and from where?
3. any idea how much for one from Vauxhall?

Apart from bolting in the intercooler for my supercharger and the water pump to go along with it while I've got all these bits removed is there anything else I should be doing/changing while I'm at it?

Make sure the bottom hose jubilee clip is clear of the aircon pipe when you reassemble.

ta for the info but pwr rad with oil cooler built in which is one they list for gto is 999$ - around 680 quid plud carriage, vat, duty etc. Have found a local garage who are going to test it for me tomorrow and if its screwed they are part of group that includes a radiator manufacturer so they'll price making an all alloy one up for me.

I'll keep an eye out for that clip Roger - did wonder why it was at such an awkward angle - had to take hose off at the cross pipe end to get radiator out. Guess that was to keep the screw adjustment and the end of the clip away from the air con pipes. Have noticed a few "rusty" pipes and bolts down in the area close to the block. Might need to treat that area with one of these rust cure products before I put it back together.
