Smallest diameter wheel that fits over APs

Sorry for asking a question that I’m sure has been asked before many times, but I could not find it in the search.

What is the smallest diameter rim that will fit over APs on the rear? I am not interested in the front just the rears.

im not sure but doesnt the space saver just about fit over the rears

I always heard that was the case, but fortunately never needed to try. Can of tyre weld is an alternative!

Unfortunately the car is at Monkfish at present, so I can’t even try the space saver to see if it fits

if the space saver fits over the rear but yu blow out on the front, just take a rear and put it up front then space saver on rear. PRoblem solved?

Pretty sure people tried the space saver over the rears before, and it didnt fit ?? At least with the 18" rims anwyay.

You should probably have just asked Roger. I think he'd tell you to get the 18" space saver that goes with the 04 VXR.

I don’t want a space saver what I am trying to find out is the smallest rims that fit on, so I can get some drag radials with the largest sidewall possible on the smallest rims possible.

So the original question might have been... will 17" Pontiac GTO wheels fit over rear AP calipers?!

You will end up with 18 x 8's.

^whs. 18" is the smallest. Even then you have to be careful where you put the balance weights.
