CV8 - Dyno plots of Headers, Cats and Mapping

Just for posterity and if anyone thinking of doing this...
These are the results from Rapid GB...
These are RWHP where possible!
Before - this is some 25 RWHP down on the SRR dyno plot from November last year - and can only attribute to there being some std unleaded left in tank?
RWHP increases - + 82HP
Torque increases - + 166 Ftlb

So let me get this right, you had some long tube headers and sports cats fitted and have achieved an increase 80+BHP at the wheels???!!!!

Not disputing this as I know nothing about engines but bloody hell thats a big increase.
To Rapid/Monkfish/any other tuning house - What increases could I expect with the same, having already been mapped for Wortec Catback, now with Wortec Headers and Sport Cats - originally 350 bhp model.
Also, If I was to take it somewhere without a Dyno, how do they know the tune is at its "peak" so to speak for my particular engine?

I have a VZ CV8 and with a Wortec catback it was rolling roaded at 318hp at the wheels and 404 torques, estimated power at the flywheel was 390hp. Engine was noticably much more eager to rev to the red line.
I have since added Wortec headers and 100 cell cats and again the difference is perceptable even more willing to spin up revs. I have not had it remapped with the headers on but I would expect it to be in-line with Dragonball's results once I have had it done, depending on whether I supercharge or not.
Having looked at the standard exhaust when it was off the car the number of pinch points where they have crushed the tubing to fit round suspension components surprised me. Likewise the cast iron headers looked very restrictive. The fact that it moves up the revs so much more easily is indicative of how much extra flow has been achieved.

I quite agree with your statement as I am in exactly the same position just want some feedback on the questions before I go ahead and get it remapped somewhere.
Just to clarify - the car already had the 'old' Wortech (quiet) exhaust on before fitting these
Mark actually had a hell of a job getting the whole lot to fit
However the difference speaks for itself...
It appeared that the original map was standard to begin with (it may have lost this when I reset the ECU some time back)which might explain the varience for the SRR figure too...
