It is, i think. Its very slow and keeps saying internet explorer cannot display this webpage. Is it ment to be slow? I'm not good at this sort of thing

That's just the marginal coverage problem

Try using the cable that was in the box (between the laptop and the dongle). If you put the dongle near a window, it might be better too. You nearest mast is almost directly facing west from where you are I think. You should have a green (or maybe even blue) light visible on the dongle when it is in decent reception range.

The 'cannot find this page' thing will come up where it times out loading because the connection is so slow. After a while, you will find a good reception place hopefully

Let me know how you get on, as I may have a different model with slightly better reception...

btw... if you get good coverage (possibly only when that new mast is completed!), it should run about the same speed as your landline broadband

Thankyou again It seems really strange being on the Internet in the van I have got it connected through the lead you sent me. Do i need to put credit on it? If so how do i do that?
