hello ,im new on here so greetings to you all.im on the mission impossible of finding a monaro in a1 nick as poss but having looked at yet another dingo yesterday with under 2000miles on the clock im wondering if i should give up and wait till the right one comes along.
ive got the approval of the missus after she finally drove one the other day and managed not to crash it so the quest is on!

ps does anyone have any good feedback on this one?

There's one along the road from me, 56 plate, black, which never ever goes anywhere. He's got something else which must be his daily drive, Omega I think, but the Monaro is ALWAYS on the drive, blocked in by the Omega, and just never ever seems to go out. Must have less than 2k miles on it! Don;t know that it's for sale though.

Are you sure it was'nt just the infamous drive train clunking it does make quit a bit of noise even on the best of cars, a diff oil change can quieten it down a bit but can still be clonky at slow speeds like motorway jam crawling speeds

im no expert on these so you could be right, at first when i drove it it did it and i thought there was something a miss, but when wife drove it also it did the same ,but was at low speed from standing start.but was quite noticable clank with a bit of a ring to it so does sound like diff.
car was in stokesley, still tyres shouldnt be worn out so can still presume its had a hard life so far!

2000 miles is exceptionally short for rear tyre life. Fresh Pirellis should do a bit more than double that. Hard old ones last longer, at the expense of grip.

The (LSD) diffs do clunk. It's something you have to get used to, but try another just in case. BTW Most of the Munro's owned on here are nothing short of immaculate, see the piccies.

Why glad? If its due to the clunking noise from the drive train, if yours doesnt do it, the diff isnt working

I've seen that one! Quite a steep driveway isn't it? Again, never seen it move.
