Had a play with a new M5 on the way home, obviously I could catch him although they are fast! when we came off the duel carriageway and he went left and me right I flashed and waved... got nothing but a glare in the mirror... grumpy git. If I knew he was gonna be like that id have undertaken him to make the point!

I buried a Impreza STI (by the time he dropped it I was gone and he just got smaller and smaller in the rear viewer) but then I saw him on Sainsbury's car park driving slowly as if looking for something (passed a number of spaces)! Not sure if it was me to offer congratulations at the hands of such a monstering or otherwise. After I spent some 10 mins in the store I saw him driving off. Probably just shopping at the same place.

The driving I came across this morning on my way to work makes the stereotypical BMW driver look like an angel! furious There I was minding my own business on the inside lane (A19) when in the distance is a tractor. So I look for a gap in the Outside Lane Owners Club. When a decent sized gap appears I politely indicate my intentions, check over my right shoulder, then slowly start to move over.
If you were the car behind, would you, a) let the other car in to the gap, possibly giving a polite flash of the lights?
OR b) accelerate hard and attempt to ram the car in front off the road, thereby nearly causing a RTA in busy rushhour traffic?

To make matters worse, this w**ker then offers to pull over so we can 'sought it all out', but not being the most diplomatic of people (ie I didnt want to get done for assaulting someone on the side of the busiest road in the North East) I declined. What I did do however was point and laugh at his diesel X-Trail ranting that REALLY upset him. biglaugh

Lorry drivers seem to LOVE doing the same to me - if say 2 lanes go to 1 and you have overtook by a considerable distane (and by that I DO mean considerable, even for a lorry) then indicate and let the natural flow of the cones guide you in, on more than 2 occasions have I had 40 tonners hoofing it to close the gap and then give it the big one toot tooting on their air horns when you get in their way! There's a lot of ahh souls out there....
Stay safe, don't let them get you down. Oh and don't give them the finger if you're stuck in a traffic jam....tends to upset the mindless fools a little too much....!

Bloody learner driver today doing just over 20mph, I exploded past over 30 but under 40 only to see a nice police van with open rear doors and a nice camera!
God knows if they got me or not, I jammed the brakes on. We shall see...
If they did it will be my first camera fine in 11 years in the UK smile

I got one in January. I opted for the £60 fine and four hour speed awareness courserolleyes however the course fell on the day of Freds funeral. I phoned to cancel/change the course. They wanted a copy of Freds death certificate. I told them to just add the three points onto my license, which they excepted but made me pay a further £60 and said i may be able to claim the course fee back if i supply them with a letter and proof of death. All that for 8 miles per hour over the limit.

Is this current. It looks dated?
