UFO on Streetview?
Discussion
Just had a bit of a play with Googles new UK streetview and found something a bit odd.

I know some uni students look like aliens, but do their parents have to pick them up from school?

Some keen photographers out there might be able to explain better, but i would say what you are looking at there is a drop of water, dust etc on the lens....
For it to be in the sky the shadow is all wrong. on the first pic the sun is directly behind the camera, however the ufo is lit bottom to top and clearly the sun would light it top to bottom?
And its way out of focus, looks more like its too close than too far, iirc from my science days, focus clarity diminishes over distance, so an object 10 metres away from a lens will be seen at the roughly the same focal length as something 100 metres away (due to convergence of light)
and in picture 2 its in front of that spire/turret/whatever on that fancy chapel your looking at.....

Having heard on the radio of all the complaints Steetview has got - (one man was spotted on it going into his favourite, ahem, gentlemens club......), there apparently is an auto blur function for faces and reg plates. It could be in this case that your UFO is just one of these blurs - maybe a bird flying by had a humanoid appearance...?

My TV has a function that smoothes the picture, and i've read that on aoccasions, if a football is seen going past a crowd of faces, the computer can't distinguish between the 2 so turns all the faces into round balls.......apparently. Now THATS weird.
