Since having the Monaro the most annoying thing ive found so far is snot and hand prints on the drivers window, where people tend to gawp in when you leave it parked up somewhere... What is it with glass and fingers prints???

not having enough spare cash to do all the mods you see mentioned and fancy doing is the most annoying thing for me.

Having to explain to people what the car is.

This usually happens when telling attractive ladies (or men) what car you drive and their face looks blank.

Mine leads on from that. I bought one with lots of mods already on it. The annoying thing was finding out how much they cost to repair. I have the AP brakes already fitted and Roger told me the discs need doing this year. I said "how much?" he gave a price. I asked "is that for a complete set?" and he said "no, that's per disc" yikes

Looks like I better start saving . I do love the car to bits and will keep it for as long as my finances allow.

The Monaro is "The affordable performance car" though. Servicing is cheap as chips. My cousin has a Porsche and a service for that is ridiculous. Plus it's nowhere near as nice to look at, as much of a head turner or anywhere near as damn sexy as my beast. Gotta love it!

Yeah replacement AP discs are an eyewatering amount of money. Mine had to be done recently and I was shocked at the cost. Yeah, it's true VX try to stiff you even more for stock discs, but equally I bought Red Dot replacement discs for a 3000Gt recently - and they're big, at less than half the cost of the AP's.
DBA do some good value discs for the 3000gt, surely they must make replacements for the Monaro. Anyone know?
Oh and yeah...The petrol. No so much the amount of petrol, more the amount of bloody tax that represents.
Other than that it's great!

And unless they actually see it you are still left with a sneaking suspicion that they think you drive a Corsa-based MPV or a large panel van.....

Not having anyone of any substance to beat from the lights etc.. (obviously all within the law) on my daily commute, it seems to be totally devoid of anything half decent to challenge me. Not the same flooring it against battered old A-B'ers.

Oh well, thats Wales for you......

Yeah I havent had mine long and it surprises me how many people stare blankly at you when you tell them, not just women either!
Also getting in the back seems to be a bit of a problem unless youre 10 years old,but Ive never been in the back and ive no intention of doing so either!!

The rediculous situation of having such a large dealer network, so few of which can actually help you.
