Spotted - chatted and a mate made!

Early Saturday morning in Newcastle, driving to get some cash out of the monument HSBC, I see a black 6.0 VXR in the middle of town (X** UFO) I glance into a shop window and see a young lady and gent pointing back at me looking at them, so I stop and introduce myself.

Gent by the name of Julian, we stopped and chatted. Just sent him an email with this site info in and Monkfish's link

Hopefully he'll be along soon. Just started to get busy in town and you could see people looking thinking "what, two of them, weird"

Surprised you havent seen me yet (black cv8), done a lot of miles at first along the A69/A1/A19, but since I got me little Fiesta for work the 'Ro only comes out at weekends and the occasional run down to work (Boro). So far have seen a silver VXR northbound A19, a black 07 plate CV8 on the road to Whitby, a black VXR parked up at Durham Tees Valley, and another black VXR near Sainsbury's in Sunderland. Wonder if you know any of these?

Their seems to be a few members now in the North East! As say literally not seen a single one of any spec since got mine and have been looking alot!

Seen S11LMX last year outside B&Q, nothing since.

Got a rare car their with the 5.7 VXR!

We should organise a mini meet between the north east members, give enough notice and somewhere central for us all, even if just for an hour one sunday be good to get a few cars together and swap tips etc on them!

Got me hands full at the mo with a 7 week old baby daughter, but I'm up for any suggestions for a meet a little later in the year, perhaps when the weather's a bit warmer?

looks like next Friday before the radiator arrives, added in some poly bushes for the front at same time, see if it feels a bit less woolly at speed.
