6.0 vxr brake discs

hi just had a mad quote from vauxhall for new front pads and discs £1400 anyone know where i can get them for cheaper ?

If you have 'vibration under braking' issue and VX are telling you the discs are warped, then get a second opinion (Roger @ the 'Fish). I have 6.0Lt VXR brakes on my CV8 and had this problem, 2 VX dealers told me discs are 'warped' and need to be replaced @ 1400 or 2000 squid. I doubted this, as the problem is only evident after hard braking and settles down a short while after - so discs cannot be warped. Took car to Monkfish, who agreed discs ok and problem is caused by pad material deposits on inside of discs (poor quality pads). MF fitted new 'performance pads' and after about 100 miles of driving later problem is cured.
