If its anything like the VXR8 it just lifts straight up as its only clipped on.
Be gone with it, I like to see my engine smile

Hmmmn, well I tugged away it the other day and it didn't seem to want to go anywhere. Fearful of breaking something I backed off. Anyone know definitively if its just clipped on, or should I be unscrewing something and if so where?

I happen to be down at Picador at the moment with my VXR8 and just asked the service guys...they said they're all on rubber grommets, no bolts or screws and should come off with a good tug smile

Its mounted in 4 places. All you need to do is put both hands around the back and pull straight up and the same at the same at the front. If im right the front onces sit in a rubber cup and need a little bit more force to pull up.
And the back ones have 2 plastic clips the attach onto the fuel rail.
Just give it a pull.

the silver one from an 04 cv8 is better for the TMNT turtle power moves, I've got a silver one lying in my shed, shortly to be joined by the black one I picked up from Mark at Rapid when I spotted it on his wall one day Also got a spare set of unpainted fibreglass split covers with LS1 on them that I dont think will fit with the charger either.
