Morning font's of knowledge

Need some new boots for the rear of my HSV GTS and wondered if there is any adverse effects to running tyres with higher load index ?

Presumeably the sidewalls are stiffer or something ?

Been offered some 95Y's for a good price and not sure what to do

Any experts out there ?

Cheers

Sidewalls are stiffer the higher the load index, will make the ride a little firmer and on some occasions improve handling(as long as you have correct width aswell). No real adverse effects at the rear, but if your front tyres are to high an index it can cause understeer.

91y will tend to be a lot cheaper too and less road noise

I've been running 95y's for a while now all round on my HSV GTS. Handles great, defo firmer around the corners, I think you will notice the difference.
