Immobiliser Fault

I have a bit of a fault with the immobiliser. Sometimes when I lock the car with the remote the near side indicator stays lit. By repeated locking and unlocking, the indicator will go out and all is well....apparantly. It is completly random as to when this happens and I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the matter? Thanks in advance.
