You say that but they don't seem that easy to find. There were some available here for small hatches but I don't know the source.

Comparing the 50-70 and 70-90 times is interesting. Monaro does 1.9 and 1.6 respectively...

I always consult Autocar & Motor archives. Unfortunately (but perhaps not unreasonably) Autocar on line doesn't provide full data. Need to find a hard copy in your local library, for example Bristol central library for me.
I have my own collection from 1986 to 1992 in the loft. If what you are interested is in that range then I can look it up for you. Not much back then is going to be faster than a super charged Monaro of course....

Errr... this is the internet!
Most people want to use this forum for the experience of the members, not having to go through pages of tripe to eventually find something on wikipedia which is incorrect anyway....
JFGI sucks....do people say "JFGI" to their family or friends?
Friend one " do you know where to find a monaro friendly dealer"
Friend two " JFGI "
Friend one " thanks, knew I could rely on you for some sound advice... do you know the best search engine to use?"
Friend two " JFGI "
Friend one " I don't like google, I prefer LYCOS...what do you think......"
Friend two " Dunno, I'd JFGI to be honest......"
And so on.
What happened to the art of conversation for conversation's sake?
Rant over, just an observation, not a go at you Magic919....
This may or may not be of interest:-
A few years ago I dropped a 5.7 Chevy V8 in a Mk3 Granada Cosworth.
As a yardstick for improvements I chose 70-100 in 4th as the time to compare, seeing as I have my own private test track.
This gear gave 20mph per 1000 revs.
When it was running ok the time was 6 seconds.
After stroking to 6.3 and alloy heads it eventually came down to 5 secs.
After fitting a Vortech supercharger at 7psi it came down to 4.2 secs.
Then it blew a piston!
Be nice to know a comparable time for the Monaro.
